project N: the first box.

Project N is moving forward. A huge thank-you to all those who have contributed towards the purchase of some new nursing textbooks to be sent to a training Hospital in Nigeria.

As well as raising money for some new books we have been asking staff at our own hospital to donate some second hand gear. The picture shows our first batch awaiting departure.

To date we have raised $408.00 which is awesome. But I am going to aim high here and set a target goal of $1,000.00 (hey, I have faith in y’all).
This will cover costs of sending the second hand books as well as purchasing some shiny new kit.
The simple act of buying a new textbook for one of these student nurses can have effects that ripple outwards, effecting the quality of health-care delivered to many.
Think about it.

Thankyou for your gift in advance.
As they say in the Emergency Department…what goes around comes around.
