I cant believe we don’t have these bad-boys all over the hospital. What is wrong with our health system?
Its got photoelectricity and electric capacity auto-induction for cripes sakes! And 3 gear warm air drying.
THAT’S …3 GEARS PEOPLE!
Although the ‘manual operation mode?’ ….er……..I think most patients will pass on that one (True….not all).
Also available in a rather intimidating (and one would imagine slightly uncomfortable) built-in-bed model:

Seriously, this definitely appears to be a legitimate medical device (click through the top link and check it out) and although I have seen a few fecal drainage arrangements, I have never seen anything like this. Anyone have any hands-on experience with something similar?

Love it – where could we get these to add to our website? Rob is right, need to see some testing on this one and patients reactions to it as well.
Hmm doesn’t that look like a giant lobster claw coming out of your bed aimed right at your genitals? I think that might be a hard sell to the guys who get squeamish with anything that looks vaguely threatening get too close to that region.
While it does seem “very convenience” I’m thinking the luxurious Chinese language LCD screen may hamper things here in the United States
I think we all know what this means, ROAD TRIP! We definitely need to do some consumer testing, and business case building. I think these, as well as some built in bed massagers is exactly what every patient needs!
Cheers,
Rob
It sounds like “News from the Moon”, we (in Hungary) don’t even have a working bedpan washer…
Hmmmm, water, electronic equipment and close proximity to genitals. Sounds fun. Excuse me Mr Smith while I suck up your faeces, and deodorize your bum with this orange monster worm contraption, it’s ok, there’s a luxurious Chinese LCD display telling us what to do. Then if you’re lucky we’ll fit the shower head, then the real fun begins.
PMSL!
