Here is the definitive guide for the most popular Australian airway adjunct in use at this time.
Obviously, if we are talking popularity….we are going to have to check their Facebook pages.

Nasopharyngeal Airways:

Facebook Page 5 likes.

Guedel’s Airways:

Facebook Page 7 likes.

QANTAS Airways:

Facebook Page 157,951 likes.

Of course, with a little FaceBook sharing…..we can change all this.

One Response to “Which is the most popular airway adjunct? The definitive guide.”

  1. I can’t wait for my airway management training. I get to do that in my second year. I felt about as useful as tits on a fish when a patient on my unit was clearly having difficulty breathing and needed his airway securing and I later saw that the crash team had popped a Geudel into him. I have been taught how to pop those in by a friend, but I wouldn’t be confident in doing it until I’ve had some real airway management. That’s one pracitcal skills session I will be paying great attention in.
