Here is something for the diary of the emergency department nurses amongst us:

The College of Emergency Nursing Australasia will be holding its 8th international conference for emergency nursing right here in Canberra, Australia from the 13th-16th October this year.

This years theme is “Global Emergency Leadership. Shaping practice and service.”
It will be exploring and debating issues surrounding leadership in clinical, management, education and research. It will also examine such areas as:

  • Practice (incorporating advanced practice, NP, practice nurses, changing roles, quality and safety)
  • Management, workforce, politics and redesign
  • Military, pandemic and emergency care response Scholarship, research, education, curriculum, simulation.

For more information on the program, invited speakers and early registration, check out the conference website.
And you’re all welcome over at my place for a beer and tofu-burger after the show.
